Mumbai, May 7 (NationPress) - The former Defence Minister and NCP-SP president Sharad Pawar reached out to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Wednesday, praising the Indian Armed Forces for their successful execution of 'Operation Sindoor' in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

Today, the Indian Air Force avenged the terrorist assault in Pahalgam by executing precise airstrikes on nine terrorist sites at approximately 1:30 a.m. This operation targeted nine militant locations with accuracy, ensuring no harm came to Pakistani civilians or military installations. The nation stands proud of this courageous act by the Indian Army. Heartfelt congratulations to all the soldiers who defended India's sovereignty and security, delivering a strong response to the Pahalgam attack! Jai Hind!”
Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis expressed on X, “With 'Operation Sindoor', India has succeeded in eliminating cowardly terrorists! Hearty congratulations to the Indian Army for providing a robust and fitting response to Pakistan regarding the Pahalgam attack, and immense gratitude to our Hon'ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi!”
NCP working president and MP Praful Patel remarked, “The attack in Pahalgam tarnished the honour of our sisters. Now, through 'Operation Sindoor', the Indian Army has restored that dignity!”
Uddhav Thackeray, chief of Shiv Sena UBT, commented that the strike on terrorist camps is a source of pride. He wrote on X, “The army avenged by eliminating the terrorists. Now, it is essential to dismantle Pakistan's sleeper cells in India,” he noted.
