Mumbai, March 26 (NationPress) Shiv Sena leader and Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, on Wednesday, launched a fierce critique against the Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena-UBT, asserting that those who view ordinary Shiv Sainiks as trash have been abandoned by everyone and have yet to recover from the high-voltage shock produced by the energy stemming from garbage.

In response to the final week's Motion in the Legislative Council, Deputy Chief Minister Shinde, without explicitly mentioning Uddhav Thackeray, alleged that the latter has discarded the Shiv Sena established by the late Balasaheb Thackeray.

He cautioned the Uddhav Thackeray faction against continuously targeting him, as he possesses numerous secrets that he is prepared to unveil.

"Regardless of the number of defamation campaigns initiated through 'supari' (contract), it will not affect me. It is regrettable that such individuals are relying on some hypocrites. One day, the party (Shiv Sena-UBT) will have to be disbanded after being labeled as traitors. Those who are peacefully resting while lighting torches must have become wiser due to the election outcomes," the Deputy CM stated.

"The Election Commission, the Supreme Court, and the Assembly Speaker have determined who the traitor is," he continued.

Deputy CM Shinde emphasized that the people's court, which supersedes all, has also established who the traitor is and who is self-serving.

He criticized the notion that one can define a party's legacy by gazing into a mirror.

"The populace has concluded the era of those who provide excuses during elections. The tire of the Opposition's vehicle has been punctured. The Opposition is fixated on when there will be a conflict within the ruling grand alliance. Nevertheless, no matter how hard you attempt to destabilize the government, it will not make any difference; rather, we will accelerate our efforts," he proclaimed.

Deputy CM Shinde assured that the MahaYuti government will completely fulfill the commitments made during the elections.

"Our promise is the saffron thread on the black stone. The government has not halted any initiatives. The suspension of certain programs was executed by the Maha Vikas Aghadi government. Our administration is dedicated to progress and prosperity," he remarked.

Addressing incidents that occurred during the Maha Vikas Aghadi governance, Deputy CM Shinde criticized the Opposition regarding the issue of freedom of expression.

"A retired Merchant Navy officer was viciously assaulted, Pranit More was attacked by Congress members in Solapur, and Ketki Chitale was imprisoned. You committed the offense of incarcerating the Rana couple when Navneet Rana recited the Hanuman Chalisa; where was your Constitution when you plotted to imprison many, including Devendra Fadnavis, using fabricated charges? Explosive devices were placed beneath the homes of industrialists—where was your Constitution when you claimed that suspended police officer Sachin Vaze is not a terrorist?" he questioned.

He further added: "Former Union Minister Narayan Rane was arrested, a bulldozer was used against Kangana Ranaut's office, and khichadi was taken from patients during the Covid-19 crisis."
