New Delhi, Feb 3 (NationPress) Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced on Monday that Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman along with Union Ministers Jyotiraditya Scindia and Hardeep Singh Puri will lead multiple sessions at the forthcoming investment summit titled 'Guwahati—Advantage Assam', scheduled for the final week of February.

During a meeting at the Parliament House, CM Sarma congratulated FM Sitharaman for delivering one of the most remarkable budgets in India's history, which prioritized the middle class and small enterprises at the forefront of the Government's agenda.

CM Sarma expressed gratitude to Sitharaman for the announcement of a new urea manufacturing facility in Assam, a significant advancement for an 'Aatmanirbhar Bharat'.

The Chief Minister further engaged with the Union Finance Minister regarding the grand Advantage Assam Summit 2.0.

At the Chief Minister's request, the Union Minister agreed to attend the valedictory session.

"I congratulated Union Minister Smt @nsitharaman Ji on presenting one of the finest budgets in India's history—a budget that has kept the middle class and small businesses at the heart of the Government's agenda. I thanked her for announcing a new urea facility in Assam, a significant step towards an Atmanirbhar Bharat," CM Sarma shared in a post on X.

CM Sarma also met Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia at his official residence.

The Chief Minister invited Union Minister Scindia to lead a session on the 'Role of I-Ways in Viksit Assam' during the forthcoming Advantage Assam - Investment and Infrastructure Summit 2.0, taking place on February 25 to 26 in Guwahati.

Union Minister Scindia accepted the invitation to chair the session at this significant event.

Later, CM Sarma tweeted, "Pleased to have met Union Minister @JM_Scindia ji in Delhi today. I am delighted to announce that he will chair a session on the role of 'I-Ways in Viksit Assam' during #AdvantageAssam2."

"This session will gather key stakeholders and top experts from the communication and technology sectors to assist in developing an Assam-specific strategy for building Information Highways in the state," he added.

Additionally, CM Sarma met Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri at the Parliament House and invited him to chair another session during the upcoming investment summit—Advantage Assam.
