Chandigarh, Sep 19 (NationPress) In a significant achievement in the fight against cross-border narcotics trafficking, the Amritsar Commissionerate Police has dismantled two additional drug cartels, apprehending six individuals involved in drug trafficking and confiscating 9.066 kg of heroin, as reported by Punjab's Director General of Police, Gaurav Yadav, on Thursday.
The arrested individuals include Honey, 18, Parmdeep Singh, also known as Paras, 18, Harwinder Singh, commonly referred to as Hinda, 19, Gurpreet Singh, or Gopi, 25, Jasbir Kaur, 40, and Kulwinder Kaur, 54.
This operation follows a prior bust by the Amritsar Commissionerate Police that targeted a drug smuggling ring operated by Moga-based Jagpreet Singh, known as Jagga, leading to the capture of a key member, Yasin Mohammed, along with 7.1 kg of heroin.
