Hyderabad, March 11 (NationPress) Six individuals tragically lost their lives in two distinct road incidents occurring in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on Tuesday.
In the first incident, a total of five fatalities were reported when a bus lost control and collided with two motorcycles in Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh. In the second incident, a young man died and five others sustained injuries when a car crashed into an electric pole on the outskirts of Hyderabad.
During the evening hours, an engineering student was fatally injured alongside five others when the car they were in veered off course and crashed into an electric pole near Gandipet Movie Towers. The vehicle was reportedly traveling at high speed when the driver lost control.
A group of engineering students from IGIT College were headed to Neopolis from Narsingi. The driver, Srikar, died instantly, while his friends Hemsai, Vivek, Sujan, Karthikeya, and Harsha were injured and subsequently admitted to a private hospital in Gachibowli.
Eyewitnesses reported that excessive speed was the primary cause of the collision, which left the car severely damaged.
Earlier, in the Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh, five individuals lost their lives when a bus belonging to the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) lost control and struck two motorcycles near Jalimanchi in Adoni mandal.
Three individuals on one motorcycle and two on another were killed in this tragic accident. Veeranna (25) and Adilaxmi (20), both from a nearby village, died at the scene.
Additionally, Devaraju, Nagaratna, and Hemadri, who were on a different motorcycle, also lost their lives. While Devaraju and Nagaratna died immediately, Hemadri succumbed to his injuries at a government hospital in Adoni.
