Hyderabad, May 19 (NationPress) Tragically, at least five individuals lost their lives in two distinct road accidents occurring in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on Monday, as reported by officials.

The first incident in Nandyal district of Andhra Pradesh claimed the lives of three individuals, while two fatalities were reported from an accident in Mulugu district of Telangana. Additionally, a total of 18 people sustained injuries in both accidents.

In the Nandyal district, a car overturned, resulting in the death of three individuals and injuring three others. This unfortunate event occurred near Pododdi village in Peapully mandal.

The victims have been identified as Santosh (47), Lokesh (37), and Naveen (37), all hailing from Tumakuru in Karnataka.

The injured individuals were taken to a hospital in Nandyal, and they were part of the same family returning to Karnataka after visiting the Srisailam and Mahanandi temples.

In response to the tragedy in Nandyal district, Andhra Pradesh’s Transport Minister Mandipalli Ram Prasad Reddy expressed his sorrow. He conveyed his condolences regarding the loss of three young lives in the accident.
