Indore, Nov 8 (NationPress) Tragically, two promising lives were extinguished late Friday night when a recklessly speeding sports utility vehicle (SUV) collided with a motorcycle carrying three young friends near a private hospital in the Lasudia police station area of Indore.

The deceased have been identified as Ayush, 23, and Krishna Pal, 21, hailing from Moondi and Chhaigaon in Khandwa district, respectively. Both succumbed to their injuries at the scene. Their friend, Shreyansh, is fighting for his life in critical condition at the government-run MYH Hospital.

Witnesses recounted a harrowing scene around 2 a.m., as the high-speed vehicle crashed into the motorcycle unexpectedly, throwing the riders onto the pavement. The impact was so intense that Ayush and Krishna Pal were declared dead by paramedics upon their arrival at the hospital, as reported by police officials.

Other accounts indicated that their bodies were left unattended in front of the hospital for approximately half an hour until the police arrived. Shreyansh, believed to be in his early 20s, suffered multiple fractures, severe head trauma, and internal injuries. He was quickly transported to Maharaja Yeshwantrao Hospital (MYH), where he has been placed on a ventilator.

"His condition is critical; we are doing everything within our power," stated the treating physician at MYH, highlighting the urgency of the next 48 hours. Friends and family have gathered outside the ICU, praying for a miracle. The Lasudia police station responded promptly to the incident, securing the accident site.

Authorities have seized the SUV involved, its front end crumpled as a stark reminder of the absent driver. "The vehicle has been impounded, and we have filed an FIR under Sections 106 of BNS (304A of IPC) -- causing death by negligence and 125 (B) (337 of IPC), for causing hurt by rash act," confirmed police officials.

Forensic teams are examining the roadway for evidence—there are no brake marks, and the tire treads appear fresh—while CCTV footage from nearby pharmacies and the hospital is being scrutinized to identify the fleeing motorist.

Police are tracing the vehicle's registration to locate its owner and are appealing to the public for information. The owner's identity remains unknown, raising suspicions of a hit-and-run cover-up.

Ayush, an aspiring engineer from a humble family in Vijay Nagar, and Krishna Pal, a recent college graduate with dreams of a career in IT, were on their way home from a casual outing when this tragic event unfolded.
