Take Inspiration from the Heroic Sacrifices of Sahibzadas: Haryana Chief Minister

Chandigarh, Dec 26 (NationPress) On the occasion of Veer Bal Diwas, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini encouraged the public to draw motivation from the heroic sacrifices made by the Sahibzadas, the sons of Guru Gobind Singh.
Speaking at the state-level celebration in Kurukshetra, he urged parents to instill the values of bravery, sacrifice, and dedication in their children, echoing the remarkable traits exhibited by the Sahibzadas, emphasizing that this would be a fitting tribute to their unmatched sacrifice.
He also called upon religious leaders and social organizations to join forces in initiating a widespread movement against social issues such as drug addiction, aiming to eradicate this serious problem at its roots and safeguard the youth.
Honoring their bravery, the Chief Minister stated that Sahibzada Zorawar Singh and Sahibzada Fateh Singh symbolize the ultimate sacrifice in service to the nation. The timeless saga of the Veer Sahibzadas, who lost their lives at such a tender age, is etched in the history books in golden letters.
CM Saini expressed appreciation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the establishment of Veer Bal Diwas to commemorate the martyrdom of the Veer Sahibzadas annually. He mentioned that due to the Prime Minister's initiatives, this day is now observed with profound respect across the nation every year on December 26.
The Chief Minister noted that between December 20 and 27, 1704, every member of the Guru Gobind Singh family sacrificed their lives for the protection of faith and the welfare of the populace. He regarded the martyrdom of Guru Gobind Singh's family as the greatest sacrifice in the annals of history, made to defend the country, religion, and society, as well as to protect the weak and vulnerable.
Through their sacrifices, they imparted a timeless message of truth, justice, and righteousness to humanity, he added.
Characterizing the Sikh community as one of courage, the Chief Minister emphasized that Sikhism has bestowed the nation with 10 great Gurus, each of whom made significant sacrifices for the country and society.
He noted that all the Gurus, including Guru Nanak Dev, have a profound connection with the sacred land of Haryana. He also paid tribute to Kushal Singh Dahiya, from Badkhalsa village in Sonipat, who sacrificed his life to retrieve the revered head of Guru Teg Bahadur, known as the Chadar of Hind, to Anandpur Sahib.
Referring to the Kapal Mochan Tirtha in Yamunanagar, CM Saini highlighted its historical importance, stating that it was here that Guru Nanak Dev, the founder of Sikhism, introduced the concepts of langar, sangat, and pangat as part of the vision of Sarvadharm Sambhaav (equal respect for all religions).
