New Delhi, March 23 (NationPress) In a disturbing incident, the lifeless bodies of a 17-year-old boy and a 17-year-old girl were discovered hanging from a tree in a park located in southwest Delhi's Hauz Khas area during the early hours of Sunday.
According to an official report, the boy was attired in a black T-shirt and blue jeans, while the girl was dressed in a green dress.
A senior officer from the Delhi Police stated that at 6:31 a.m., a PCR call was received from Baljit Singh, a security guard at Deer Park, Hauz Khas, reporting the hanging of two bodies.
“Upon receiving the call, police personnel promptly arrived at the location and discovered that a 17-year-old boy, clad in a black T-shirt and blue jeans, and a 17-year-old girl, in a green dress, had hanged themselves using a common nylon rope from a tree branch,” the official explained.
The Crime Branch was summoned for further examination.
The bodies were subsequently retrieved and transported to a hospital for a post-mortem examination.
