Patna, April 11 (NationPress) Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, the National Working President of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), vehemently criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), asserting that its leaders aim to impose the RSS's ideological framework in lieu of the nation’s constitutional principles.

During a felicitation event hosted by members of the minority community at Shri Krishna Memorial Hall in Patna, Tejashwi accused the BJP of practicing divisive politics and inciting communal discord for electoral advantage.

He contended that such tactics undermine national integrity and advocated for unity to combat these challenges.

Highlighting the recent political climate in West Bengal, he claimed that attempts to manipulate electoral results through contentious methods have been unveiled, indicating the party’s desperation to maintain or seize power.

He noted that whenever pressing issues like law and order emerge, the ruling party resorts to distraction techniques.

Referencing Lalu Prasad Yadav's legacy, Tejashwi recounted the significant role played in halting Lal Krishna Advani’s Rath Yatra, which he described as a pivotal moment for national unity.

He reaffirmed that the RJD is steadfast in its ideological commitment and will persist in opposing perceived divisive policies, both on the streets and in legislative assemblies.

Tejashwi urged for solidarity among communities, calling on individuals to stay alert against forces attempting to create divisions.

“Just as Lalu Prasad Yadav stood tall against communal forces, so will I,” he declared.

At the event, Ali Ashraf Fatmi, the National President of the RJD Minority Cell, welcomed Tejashwi Yadav with a traditional cap, safa, and a bouquet.

Representatives from diverse communities, including the Sikh community, honored him with a Saropa and a ceremonial sword.

In his address, Fatmi highlighted that this felicitation represented the minority community’s support for Tejashwi’s leadership and vision.

He noted that the RJD has consistently championed social harmony, Ganga-Jamuni culture, and minority rights.

Fatmi also referenced the findings of the Sachar Committee, alleging that the representation of minorities in government jobs has decreased and that current political dynamics have exacerbated this issue.

Mangani Lal Mandal, the RJD State President, stated that the trust and admiration for Lalu Prasad Yadav and Tejashwi Yadav among minority groups remain robust.

He praised Tejashwi’s initiatives during his tenure aimed at enhancing employment and fostering social harmony, expressing optimism that unity can triumph over hatred.

The event saw the participation of numerous senior leaders and party members, demonstrating substantial support.
