Hyderabad, May 18 (NationPress) Telangana's Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has mandated a comprehensive investigation into the devastating fire that occurred in a building near Charminar, resulting in the tragic loss of 17 lives on Sunday.
As per the Chief Minister's Office, an inquiry has been initiated to reveal the underlying causes of the fire. The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of implementing preventive measures to avert such incidents in the future, as well as fostering public awareness regarding fire safety.
The Chief Minister expressed his deep sorrow and offered condolences for the loss of the 17 victims. He also extended his sympathies to the grieving families, assuring them of the full backing of the state government.
Immediately upon learning of the fire, he contacted the Fire Service and police officials via phone to oversee the ongoing rescue operations closely. In addition to accelerating the rescue efforts, the CM instructed available ministers and officials in the city to promptly proceed to the scene to ensure superior medical treatment for the injured.
