Hyderabad, May 19 (NationPress) K.T. Rama Rao, the working president of Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), criticized the Chief Minister of Telangana, A. Revanth Reddy, for failing to visit the site of a devastating fire accident near Charminar that resulted in the loss of 17 lives on Sunday.
After visiting the scene on Monday, Rao engaged with the bereaved families and expressed that adequate facilities might have saved some victims.
He urged the state government to prioritize emergency preparedness and demanded compensation of Rs 25 lakh for each victim's family.
