Additionally, schools in Hyderabad are set to operate on a half-day schedule, while IT firms have been prompted to facilitate work-from-home arrangements.
With predictions of very heavy to extremely heavy rainfall in Hanumakonda, Jangaon, Mahabubabad, Warangal, and Yadadri Bhuvanagiri districts on August 13 and 14, the school education department has announced a two-day holiday for all government and private schools in these areas.

The Principal Secretary (irrigation) and Chief Engineer (irrigation) will monitor the situation across all districts,” the minister stated on Wednesday.
