Jammu, April 12 (NationPress) Three terrorists, including Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) top commander Saifullah, were eliminated during a prolonged anti-terror operation in Jammu and Kashmir’s (J&K) Kishtwar district, officials reported on Saturday.
In the encounter within Kishtwar, three terrorists were neutralized, including the JeM commander Saifullah. Authorities recovered a significant cache of war-like materials, featuring one AK and one M4 rifle.
On Friday, one terrorist was also killed in this collaborative operation against the militants in Kishtwar.
Officials noted that an ultra was neutralized during a joint operation by the Army and security forces, which commenced on April 9 in the Chatroo area of Kishtwar district.
This operation was initiated based on specific intelligence inputs, leading to a firefight with the terrorists that resulted in one militant being eliminated.
The search operation, undertaken by the Army and police, is ongoing to flush out terrorists hiding in dense forests.
