Chennai, March 22 (NationPress) Tamil Nadu BJP Spokesperson and senior party leader, ANS Prasad, asserted that the DMK-led government in the state, under the guidance of Chief Minister MK Stalin, has initiated a malicious campaign against the Centre's delimitation process.
This action serves as a desperate attempt to shift focus away from the state's rampant corruption, frequent murders, and pervasive sexual crimes, claimed Prasad.
He stated, “Stalin's administration has neglected these pressing issues, opting instead for divisive policies and misleading the populace. The BJP has effectively unveiled the DMK's strategies, and the citizens are no longer fooled.”
The BJP leader emphasized that the delimitation matter should be handled equitably and transparently, without being manipulated for political advantage. The extensive black flag protest across 68,000 booths in Tamil Nadu, spearheaded by Tamil Nadu BJP President Annamalai, illustrates the public's dissatisfaction with Stalin's governance, he noted.
Prasad remarked, “It's time for change in Tamil Nadu.” He called for an end to corruption, crime, and unlawful activities. The Tamil Nadu BJP leader insisted that Stalin's administration must be accountable for its shortcomings.
He accused the DMK and Congress, infamous for their corruption and mismanagement, of now hiding behind the guise of state autonomy and federalism. Their true aim is to sow confusion and chaos across India, undermining the authority of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP-led government, said ANS Prasad.
The senior BJP leader argued that the delimitation exercise was merely a facade for their malicious intentions. “We must not allow them to succeed in their efforts to destabilize our great nation. Let us unite against the divisive politics of the DMK, Congress, and their affiliates,” he urged.
He stated, “Let us protect our democracy and ensure that the interests of our nation and its citizens remain a priority. We will not be misled by Stalin's delimitation theatrics. It's time to unveil the hypocrisy of these parties and demand accountability for their failures.”
He also noted that the delimitation process is a constitutional necessity, aimed at redefining the boundaries of parliamentary and Assembly constituencies. “The Centre has assured that no state will lose a single parliamentary seat due to delimitation,” he added.
ANS Prasad pointed out that the DMK and its allies are spreading falsehoods and stoking unfounded fears. This is a blatant effort to undermine the Centre's authority and create turmoil in the state, he claimed. The BJP leader stated, “We demand that the DMK and its allies honor the constitutional process and cease disseminating misinformation. The people of Tamil Nadu deserve better than a government that prioritizes its own agenda over their welfare.”
He mentioned that the delimitation drama was initiated by CM Stalin and the DMK as a desperate attempt to divert attention from their failures. He stated, “We will not be misled by their malicious strategies.”
The BJP leader concluded, “Let us unite against the divisive politics of the DMK, Congress, and their allies. Let us defend our democracy and ensure that the interests of our nation and its people remain a priority. We demand accountability from Stalin's administration and an end to corruption, crime, and unlawful activities in Tamil Nadu.”
