In Dhanbad, the remains of 22-year-old Raju Kumar Mahato, a BA Part-2 student at Sindri College, were found suspended from a tree within a forest close to the Mahulbani OB dump.
A group of children, who were wandering in the vicinity, made the grim discovery. They quickly informed Raju’s family, who, along with local residents, hurried to the scene.
Law enforcement arrived shortly after receiving the alert. They took down the body and sent it for a post-mortem examination.

In a separate incident in Jamshedpur, a 40-year-old man, identified as Varun Kumar Tiwari from Siwan, Bihar, was discovered floating in a well adjacent to Shiv Mandir at Loco More, under the jurisdiction of Parsudih police station.
Locals, who had come to the public well for bathing on Wednesday morning, noticed the body and promptly alerted the police, who, with the assistance of nearby residents, recovered it.
