The young boy, en route to school, was tragically crushed by a truck after his motorcycle skidded, while three other students suffered serious injuries.
The unfortunate event occurred in the vicinity of Hotel Radisson on Friday morning.
Former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot expressed his dismay at the state government, attributing the accident to alleged mismanagement during the state-level Independence Day festivities.
“As reported by the media, over 15 children required hospitalization due to dehydration during the event, and many were denied entry despite having valid passes. The government's insensitivity was starkly evident even after a child lost his life due to a road accident,” he stated.
