Vellore, Feb 22 (NationPress) The TVK's executive council meeting, under the leadership of actor-turned-politician Vijay, is scheduled for Monday, February 23, at Agaramcheri in Tamil Nadu's Vellore district.

The party has announced that 4,900 delegates will be present for this meeting, which has now been shifted from a public rally to a more administrative format.

Originally, the event was anticipated to attract around 25,000 attendees, necessitating preparations on a 33-acre site at Agaramcheri. However, after a venue inspection, Vellore Superintendent of Police N.U. Sivaraman imposed 20 conditions and requested written clarification from the party.

In response, TVK adjusted the format of the event, transitioning from a public gathering to a closed executive council meeting, adhering to police guidelines.

Entry will be limited to 4,900 members, each receiving an identity card equipped with a QR code. Only those with authorized ID will have access to the venue.

The meeting is set to occur from noon to 4 p.m.. Canopies will be erected at 10 designated areas within the venue, with sufficient seating arrangements.

Organizers have planned to distribute 50,000 water bottles and have set up 6,000-litre water tanks to ensure participants' comfort.

In terms of medical readiness, 10 medical teams consisting of 30 doctors, 100 nurses, and 100 medical assistants will be available, along with 15 ambulances on standby. Additionally, 500 volunteers, including 50 women, will help maintain order.

The volunteers have recently completed security training led by retired police sub-inspector Sabiyullah. The police department has confirmed the deployment of 900 personnel to ensure safety.

Given the venue's proximity to the Chennai-Bengaluru National Highway, traffic management will be in place, although Agaramcheri-Pallikuppam road will experience diversions.

Authorities have also indicated that Vijay will be traveling by road from Chennai on Monday, necessitating strict measures to prevent unauthorized vehicles from following his convoy.
