Thiruvananthapuram, Jan 12 (NationPress) The Leader of the Opposition in Kerala, V.D. Satheesan, has officially declared that the Congress-led UDF will not participate in the protest organized by the Left Democratic Front against the Centre. He accused the administration led by Pinarayi Vijayan of orchestrating a “fake agitation” to mask what he described as a political alliance with the *Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)*.

During a press conference, Satheesan criticized the Chief Minister and the Kerala government for their submissiveness to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi, while misleading the public in Kerala by portraying themselves as adversaries of the Centre.

“This government protests publicly while agreeing to terms set by PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah behind closed doors,” he claimed.

Satheesan pointed out that the Kerala government's position on various Central schemes, including the *PM SHRI project*, has already unveiled its duplicity.

“Engaging in this protest would compromise the UDF's integrity,” Satheesan emphasized, confirming that the Congress-led coalition will remain detached from it.

The Leader of the Opposition also alleged a “dishonorable understanding” between the BJP's central leadership and Kerala's CPI-M leadership to shield each other from legal repercussions.

He further accused CPI-M of fostering majoritarian communalism within the state, akin to the BJP's approach.

“Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has permitted hate speeches from figures like Vellappally Natesan, and similar statements from A.K. Balan only reinforce this trend,” he remarked.

According to Satheesan, the CPI-M is employing the Sangh Parivar's tactic of exploiting religious divisions for political leverage.

“Post the last Parliamentary elections, the CPI-M has transitioned from supporting minority communalism to endorsing majority communalism,” he alleged, asserting that the current protest serves as a distraction from this shift.

Reiterating his long-standing accusations, Satheesan asserted that Chief Minister Vijayan's political ascent was facilitated by the *Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS)*.

“Not a single Congress MLA has entered the Assembly with the support of the RSS or BJP; however, Pinarayi Vijayan has,” he noted, alleging clandestine interactions with RSS leaders even after he took office as Chief Minister.
