Chennai, Nov 9 (NationPress) Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin is set to unveil a remarkable welfare program—the “Special Temple Service Scheme”—targeted at senior couples aged 70 and above at the revered Arulmigu Sri Parthasarathyswamy Temple in Triplicane on Monday (November 10). This initiative aims to pay tribute to elderly devotees and is being launched under the direction of Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, as highlighted in the 2025–26 State Budget, according to Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments (HR&CE) Minister P.K. Sekarbabu on Sunday.
The program intends to honor and celebrate the spiritual contributions of 2,000 senior couples across 20 HR&CE joint commissioner divisions, with each division hosting a dedicated temple service for 100 couples.
