Prayagraj, April 25 (NationPress) The Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education has officially revealed the results for the Class 10 (High School) and Class 12 (Intermediate) examinations.

This year, the overall pass rate reached an impressive 90.11% for High School and 81.15% for Intermediate.

In the Class 12 results, Mehak Jaiswal distinguished herself as the state topper, whereas Yash Pratap Singh claimed the top spot in the Class 10 results.

The announcement was made in the presence of UP Board Chairman Dr. Mahendra Dev, Secretary Bhagwati Singh, and other esteemed members of the Examination Committee at the board headquarters located in Prayagraj.

According to official statistics, a total of 54,37,233 students registered for the board examinations this year — 27,32,216 for High School and 27,05,017 for Intermediate.

Among High School examinees, there were 14,49,736 boys and 12,82,458 girls, while 14,58,983 boys and 12,46,024 girls were enrolled for the Intermediate exams.

The examinations were conducted from February 24 to March 12, 2025, across 8,140 examination centres within a span of just 13 working days, ensuring an efficient process. The evaluation of answer sheets occurred at 261 evaluation centres from March 19 to April 2, 2025.

Extending his congratulations, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath shared a message on the social media platform X, stating: "Heartfelt congratulations to all achievers who have made it to the merit list of the UP Board Class 10 and 12 exams. Your success is a product of hard work, discipline, and determination. This accomplishment has made your parents and educators proud. Wishing you all a luminous and prosperous future."

Additionally, he announced that the state government will recognize all toppers at both the state and district levels.

In a note to those who did not pass, the Chief Minister remarked, "Failure should not lead to despair. It provides a chance for introspection and growth. Remain optimistic — try once more. Success awaits you."
