Amroha, April 25 (NationPress) Sakshi, a student hailing from Gajraula in Uttar Pradesh’s Amroha district, has made her town and district proud by achieving the second position in the UP Board Intermediate Examination 2025 with an outstanding 96.80 per cent marks.
A pupil of Shri Narayan Smarak Inter College in Gajraula, Sakshi’s remarkable performance in the Class 12 results declared by the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has sparked celebrations throughout the district. The school officials, educators, and her family expressed profound pride and joy over her groundbreaking accomplishment.

The UP Board revealed the results for the Class 10 and Class 12 examinations on April 25. This year, more than 54 lakh students participated in the board exams, which took place from February 24 to March 12 across 8,140 centres in Uttar Pradesh.
A total of 25,56,992 candidates sat for the High School (Class 10) exams, while 25,77,733 students appeared for the Intermediate (Class 12) exams.
The overall pass rate for Class 10 stands at 90.11 per cent, and for Class 12, it is 81.15 per cent, continuing a strong trend, particularly among female students. Last year, girls outperformed boys in overall pass percentages, and this trend seems likely to persist this year.
In other top results, Yash Pratap Singh from Late Smt. Rasakendri Devi Inter College in Umari (Jalaun) ranked first in the Class 10 boards with 97.83 per cent marks. Meanwhile, Mahak Jaiswal achieved the highest position in the Class 12 boards with 97.20 per cent marks.
Sakshi’s triumph has become a source of inspiration for students throughout Uttar Pradesh, particularly for those from smaller towns like Gajraula.
