Bhopal, May 6 (NationPress) The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) has officially released the results for the Class 10 and Class 12 examinations for the academic year 2024-25.
The announcement took place at Samatva Bhavan, the official residence of the Chief Minister in Bhopal, where Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and School Education Minister Uday Pratap Singh were present alongside senior education officials.
The total pass percentage achieved for Class 10 stood at 76.22%, whereas the Class 12 examinations saw a pass rate of 74.48%.
Continuing the trend, girls outshone boys in both categories, not only securing higher scores but also taking the top ranks in the merit lists.
Pragya Jaiswal from Singrauli district emerged as the state topper for Class 10, achieving a flawless score of 500 out of 500 marks.
For Class 12, Priyal Dwivedi from Satna claimed the highest score, obtaining 492 out of 500 marks, thus earning the top spot in the state merit list.
This year, approximately 16.6 lakh students participated in the MP Board examinations, with around 9.53 lakh taking the Class 10 exams and 7.06 lakh appearing for Class 12.
The Class 10 exams were conducted between February 27 and March 21, while the Class 12 exams took place from February 25 to March 25.
During the result declaration ceremony, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav congratulated the successful candidates and provided encouragement to those who did not achieve their desired results.
"This is not the end of the journey. Under the New Education Policy 2020, students who did not succeed or feel unsatisfied with their marks will have an opportunity to sit for a second examination in July-August. Setbacks can happen despite our best efforts. However, students should remain motivated, prepare again, and take their next steps forward," he stated.
