New Delhi, Feb 1 (NationPress) BJP candidate from the New Delhi Assembly seat, Parvesh Verma, has been vocally critical of AAP national convenor and former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's 'Mohalla Clinic scheme'. He has labeled it a 'Halla Clinic' instead of a Mohalla Clinic.

"The initiative, which was purportedly initiated to deliver healthcare to the underprivileged, has morphed into a mechanism to mislead the public under the pretext of welfare," the BJP candidate stated.

In a correspondence addressed to Kejriwal, Verma posed several pressing questions regarding the implementation and transparency of the scheme.

Verma demanded clarity on the funds allocated to Mohalla Clinics, questioning Kejriwal about the financial outlay and its destinations.

He also insisted on a public announcement of 'irregularities or corruption' within the scheme.

The BJP candidate sought a 'comprehensive list' of clinics that exist solely on paper and the names of the officials accountable for these fictitious establishments.

Verma requested detailed statistics concerning the number of patients treated at Mohalla Clinics and the overall expenditure on their treatments, accusing the government of concealing the genuine figures.

Furthermore, he asked for a breakdown of how many family members of Arvind Kejriwal, his ministers, and MLAs have reaped benefits from the scheme. He inquired whether the clinics are being exploited for political leverage.

Verma questioned why the government has 'failed' to fulfill its pledges and why no apology has been forthcoming.

He strongly criticized the AAP government, accusing it of 'transforming a healthcare initiative intended for the underprivileged into a political instrument.'

He asserted that the Mohalla Clinics have turned into a stage for publicity and political advantage, rather than offering genuine healthcare services.

Verma urged the Delhi government to disclose all financial data and information pertinent to the Mohalla Clinics.

He emphasized that the public deserves transparency and accountability.
