BJP’s Verma Critiques Kejriwal for Job Deficiency in New Delhi Constituency Over 11 Years

New Delhi, Jan 8 (NationPress) In a pointed critique of the AAP’s governance, Parvesh Verma, the BJP candidate vying for the New Delhi Assembly seat, accused former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal of neglecting job creation for the youth in the area. Verma, who established a registration camp on Peshwa Road on Wednesday, committed to delivering employment opportunities for local residents, with a particular focus on women, who are flocking to the camp in search of jobs.

In an interview with IANS, Verma lambasted the AAP administration, asserting, "In 11 years, Kejriwal has failed to provide even a single job within the New Delhi Assembly. My primary objective is to ensure the welfare of the mothers and sisters in this community, followed by generating employment for their children to enable their families to prosper. Subsequently, we will strive to secure their housing and assist in their registration."

Verma also stated that the residents of the New Delhi constituency are poised to remove Kejriwal from power, remarking, "For the past 11 years, Kejriwal has neither visited their homes nor welcomed them into his. This time, the citizens are completely ready to prevail against him."

In response to recent actions by AAP's Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh, who attempted to access the Prime Minister's residence amid the 'Sheesh Mahal' and 'Raj Mahal' dispute, Verma ridiculed, "Sanjay Singh will complain that no one can enter the Rashtrapati Bhavan like that; permission is essential. I’ve already reached out to the Public Works Department (PWD) for permission. Should I receive it, I’ll accompany him too."

Verma also commented on the current controversy involving Delhi CM Atishi and her official residence. He claimed, "Atishi was advised to occupy her residence but declined because Kejriwal does not permit her to sit in his chair. If he won’t let her enter his home, why blame the PWD? Atishi possesses two bungalows. The responsibility lies with her."

As the Delhi Assembly elections draw near, Verma’s assertive claims and promises of job creation and improved living standards for constituents are intensifying the fierce electoral competition.
