BJP's Verma Criticizes AAP for Lack of Jobs in New Delhi Constituency Over 11 Years

New Delhi, Jan 8 (NationPress) In a pointed criticism of the AAP's administration, Parvesh Verma, the BJP candidate contesting for the New Delhi Assembly seat, charged former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal with neglecting job creation for the youth in the area. Verma, who organized a registration camp on Peshwa Road on Wednesday, assured locals of job opportunities, with a special focus on women attending the camp in search of employment.
In an interview with IANS, Verma lambasted the AAP government, asserting, "In 11 years, Arvind Kejriwal has not delivered even a single job within the New Delhi Assembly. My primary aim is to guarantee the welfare of the mothers and sisters in this region, followed by generating job prospects for their children, enabling their families to prosper. Subsequently, we will strive to secure permanent housing for them and assist in their registration."
Verma expressed confidence that the residents of the New Delhi constituency are ready to remove Kejriwal from power, stating, "In 11 years, Kejriwal has neither visited their homes nor welcomed them into his. This time, the residents are fully prepared to unseat him."
He also reacted to AAP's Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh regarding his recent attempts to access the Prime Minister's residence amid the 'Sheesh Mahal' and 'Raj Mahal' controversy.
Verma ridiculed Singh, saying, "Sanjay Singh will argue that entry to the Rashtrapati Bhavan is restricted; permission is mandatory. I've already sent a request to the Public Works Department (PWD) for permission. If granted, I’ll accompany him as well."
Additionally, Verma addressed the ongoing issue surrounding Delhi CM Atishi and her official residence. He remarked, "Atishi was advised to take her residence, but she declined as Kejriwal does not permit her to occupy his chair. If he restricts her from entering his home, why place the blame on the PWD? Atishi possesses two bungalows. The issue lies with her."
As the Delhi Assembly elections approach, Verma’s assertive claims and commitments to enhance job prospects and living conditions for his constituents are intensifying the fierce electoral competition.
