Delhi BJP Leader Claims AAP's 38 Candidates Include Criminals

New Delhi, Dec 15 (NationPress) The President of the Delhi BJP, Virendra Sachdeva, articulated on Sunday that the final roster of 38 candidates released by AAP is essentially a 'list of criminals', citing that many of the candidates are currently out on bail or surrounded by scandals.
“Whether it is Arvind Kejriwal, Satyendra Kumar Jain, or Amanatullah Khan, this is a collection of law-breakers,” Sachdeva told IANS, asserting that this list indicates Kejriwal’s protection of criminals in Delhi.
When questioned about the allegedly delayed announcement of BJP candidates, Sachdeva remarked, “The BJP does not require Kejriwal's consent to announce its candidates. We are aware of the right timing.”
The Delhi BJP leader expressed approval of the decision made by Kejriwal and Chief Minister Atishi to run for re-election from their current constituencies. “This will facilitate accountability for Kejriwal regarding his decade-long governance,” Sachdeva stated.
Former West Delhi MP Parvesh Verma informed IANS, “The residents of the New Delhi Assembly constituency are eager to teach Arvind Kejriwal a lesson.”
He indicated that in the past 11 years, Kejriwal has neglected his constituency, leading to significant discontent among voters. “A historic defeat awaits him,” Verma predicted.
Targeting former Chief Minister Kejriwal, Verma alleged that the AAP leader was engaged in the liquor policy scandal, corruption related to the renovation of his official residence or 'Sheesh Mahal', and contributing to the pollution of the Yamuna.
Challenging Kejriwal's record on infrastructure, he stated that the AAP leader had not delivered any flyover, educational institution, medical facility, or sports stadium in the last 11 years.
“Did he provide jobs for the youth of Delhi? Currently, he speaks of offering Rs 2,100 in financial aid to women, but can he confirm if his party’s government has honored a similar commitment in Punjab?” Verma questioned.
He recommended that women in Delhi reach out to friends and family in Punjab to verify if they are receiving the Rs 2,100 financial assistance promised by the AAP prior to the Assembly elections.
