New Delhi, Jan 11 (NationPress) The President of the Delhi BJP, Virendra Sachdeva, shared a controversial video featuring the Leader of the Opposition in the Delhi Assembly, Atishi, on his X account this past Sunday. He challenged Arvind Kejriwal, the National Convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), to file a First Information Report (FIR) against him.

During a press conference, Sachdeva played the video for reporters and urged countless BJP supporters to do the same.

He emphasized that no BJP member in Delhi is intimidated by the prospect of false FIRs instigated by Kejriwal.

The press conference was led by Praveen Shankar Kapoor, the Media Head for Delhi BJP, who pointed out that AAP legislators are distancing themselves from Atishi and that the party appears to be experiencing internal turmoil.

Also present were State General Secretary and MP Yogendra Chandolia, Kamaljeet Sehrawat, Vishnu Mittal, and Media Relations Head Vikram Mittal.

Sachdeva noted that Delhi Government Minister Kapil Mishra had previously posted the video related to Atishi's controversial remarks during Assembly sessions on X, which led the AAP government in Punjab to file an FIR against him.

The Delhi BJP President reiterated that he shared the same video clip on his own X account and encouraged thousands of BJP workers to disseminate it.

In a bold challenge, Sachdeva asserted that if Kejriwal possesses the resolve, the Punjab government should initiate FIRs against him and the thousands of BJP members.

Sachdeva remarked that Atishi left for Goa on the same day the incident unfolded in the Assembly. Over the next three days of Assembly sessions, the Speaker issued notices for her to appear and present her case, but she failed to do so. Despite this, an FIR was filed in Punjab at Kejriwal's request.

He added that Kejriwal is fully aware that any issues raised during Assembly sessions can only be addressed by the Speaker.

After AAP legislators called for a forensic investigation, the Speaker mandated the inquiry. However, even before the forensic report was completed, the Punjab government exonerated Atishi and filed an FIR against Minister Kapil Mishra.

Sachdeva stated that Kejriwal is now anxious, knowing that his administration in Punjab is on the brink of collapse.

In this state of alarm, he is allegedly misusing the Punjab Police in an unethical manner to intimidate the citizens of Delhi and BJP workers. Nonetheless, Sachdeva affirmed that no BJP member will be cowed down by such threats.
