Parvesh Verma Claims Kejriwal of 2025 is a Different Entity from 2013; Reveals BJP's Vision for an Improved Delhi

New Delhi, Jan 9 (NationPress) Parvesh Verma, the BJP's candidate for the New Delhi Assembly seat, delivered a fierce critique of former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, alleging corruption and hypocrisy, stating that the Kejriwal of 2013 and 2025 are fundamentally different.
In an interview with IANS, Verma condemned Kejriwal for purportedly misappropriating public funds to renovate the Chief Minister's residence on Flagstaff Road into an opulent 'Sheesh Mahal' during his tenure.
The entire city is aware of the truth now. Even children are voicing that Arvind Kejriwal has indulged in corruption and constructed a palace. He had previously vowed not to utilize official vehicles or accommodations, but now, the Kejriwal of 2013 and the Kejriwal of 2025 are worlds apart,
Verma asserted.
Verma also criticized Kejriwal's conduct amid the COVID-19 crisis, noting, While countless lives were lost in Delhi, the lavish palace was being constructed at the Chief Minister's residence. I have reached out to the PWD Secretary for permission to conduct an inspection and will take local residents along to demonstrate how public funds were utilized.
In response to the AAP's worries regarding the BJP's leadership in Delhi, Verma remarked, Our party upholds democratic values. Decisions are made by the parliamentary board. They should not be concerned about our leadership but instead focus on their unmet promises.
He elaborated on the BJP's objectives, which include enhancing infrastructure, generating job opportunities, and upgrading public transportation.
Delhi once boasted 8,000 buses; now, only 2,500 are operational. We aspire to boost this number to 20,000 and ensure free bus rides for women,
he added.
Verma further criticized the Opposition alliances, labeling the INDIA bloc a collection of corrupt leaders.
These parties lack any credibility in Delhi,
he stated.
Verma expressed confidence that the BJP aims to revolutionize Delhi with enhanced amenities, housing for slum residents, and a cleaner environment while holding the AAP accountable for its governance shortcomings.
