Gandhinagar, Jan 11 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi officially launched the ‘Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference: Saurashtra-Kutch’ on Sunday, accompanied by a five-day business exhibition at Marwadi University, Rajkot. This event brings to life the vision of ‘Viksit Gujarat to Viksit Bharat’ and aligns with the theme of “Regional Aspirations with Global Ambition.”
The inauguration was attended by notable figures including Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, State Minister for Home Harsh Sanghavi, Chief Secretary M.K. Das, and other esteemed dignitaries, all of whom witnessed the industrial capabilities and talents of the Saurashtra-Kutch Region.
After the inauguration, the Prime Minister toured the extensive exhibition, which spans 18,000 square meters. At the ‘Enterprise Excellence Pavilion,’ he examined contributions from prominent organizations such as Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Essar, Nyara Energy, and Jyoti C.N.C., underscoring their significance in bolstering the nation’s economic landscape. He commended Gujarat's advancing industrial capabilities and technological innovations.
During his visit to the ‘Ocean of Opportunities’ Pavilion, which highlighted the vast prospects of Saurashtra and Kutch’s coastal areas, the Prime Minister expressed notable enthusiasm.
Presentations by the Gujarat Maritime Board on the blue economy, along with innovative displays from exhibitors such as Reliance New Energy, garnered significant interest. The exhibition also showcased the equilibrium between industrial advancement and environmental sustainability.
