New Delhi, Aug 14 (NationPress) Panchayat representatives who were invited as distinguished guests to the 79th Independence Day celebrations expressed their sincere appreciation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, deeming the event a moment of great pride and dignity. Many emphasized that this invitation serves as a recognition of grassroots governance and reaffirmed their dedication to executing Central government schemes within their communities.

Fakir Mohammad, the Gram Pradhan of Azadpur village in Amethi district, Uttar Pradesh, remarked: “This is a true honor for me. PM Modi has shown profound respect for village leadership by including us. Our objective is to bring Central government initiatives to the grassroots level, and we are diligently working to realize that goal.”

From Sewra village in Agra district, Sarpanch Virendra Tyagi shared: “Receiving an invitation as a special guest at the 79th Independence Day celebration fills me with tremendous joy and pride. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.”

Aman Nisha, the Gram Pradhan of Amkotwa village in Lakhimpur Kheri, also conveyed her appreciation, stating, “We are grateful to PM Modi for acknowledging grassroots-level leaders like us. This is a proud moment, particularly for women who are striving in various sectors. Recognizing their efforts is crucial.”

She further added, “Participating in panchayat elections has empowered me to make a significant contribution to my village and community. Becoming a village head at a young age has been a transformative journey. I am actively implementing multiple Central schemes for the welfare of my people.”

Inasiyas Murmu from Manikpur Gram Panchayat in Jharkhand’s Godda district also shared his insights: “Our state has a considerable tribal population. We are thankful to PM Modi for this invitation. Previously, government schemes seldom reached the people, but that has changed. Now, we are committed to ensuring that every scheme benefits the intended recipients, and we are diligently working towards that goal.”
