While elders from both factions were engaged in discussions for peace, an unexpected attack erupted, with one group assaulting the other with knives.
As a result, two individuals succumbed to stab wounds, and three others were left in critical condition. The victims have been identified as Mallesh and Ganesh.
The husband's family accused the woman's relatives of having hired a group of assassins for the meeting.

In a separate incident in Telangana's Medak district, a Congress leader was found dead under dubious circumstances.

Authorities have shifted Anil's remains to the Medak government hospital for an autopsy and are pursuing further inquiries.
Originating from Paithara village in Kulcharam mandal, Anil served as the president of the Congress party's district SC cell.
Initially, it was believed that Anil had died in a vehicular accident. According to police, he was en route to his village from his petrol bunk in Medak when his vehicle lost control and collided with a culvert near an electricity substation at Chinnaghanpur. He was transported to a private medical facility in Medak, where he later died.
Police have since arrived at the scene to investigate and discovered two bullet casings. Sub-Inspector of Police Mohammed Ghouse stated that they are examining the case from all possible angles.
