Virendra Sachdeva Predicts BJP Victory in All Constituencies, Kejriwal and Atishi to Face Defeat

New Delhi, Jan 4 (NationPress) As the BJP announced its first slate of candidates for the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections, those included in the list voiced their strong belief in winning the elections by a large margin, insisting that Kamal jarur khilega (the lotus will surely bloom).
Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva expressed unwavering confidence, stating that the party is set to triumph in all 29 constituencies.
In an interview with IANS, Sachdeva remarked, "Without a doubt, we will secure victory in every seat. Our candidates are youthful, seasoned, and possess a profound commitment to the national capital. Each candidate is dedicated to working with determination and diligence."
Sachdeva further proclaimed that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the BJP will establish a government in Delhi. "We are certain to win in all 29 constituencies listed in our initial roster," he asserted.
The BJP leader also targeted former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, anticipating his defeat in the impending elections, particularly from the New Delhi constituency. He asserted that Kejriwal's opponent, BJP’s Parvesh Verma, would claim victory.
"Kejriwal is destined to face defeat from New Delhi and Atishi from Kalkaji," he declared.
Raj Kumar Bhatia, the BJP candidate from Adarsh Nagar, also expressed optimism about the party's future.
"I am thankful for the trust placed in me by the BJP's top leadership. The residents of Delhi are well aware of the Kejriwal government's shortcomings, and they will voice their opinions during the elections. Kamal jarur khilega," Bhatia stated.
Ramesh Bidhuri, the BJP candidate from Kalkaji, shared a similar sentiment.
"I am truly grateful to the leadership for selecting me for this constituency. Over the past 5 or 6 years, Delhi CM Atishi has achieved nothing for the area, and now, after six months, she returns merely to cut cakes and embrace constituents," he said. Bidhuri predicted a loss for Congress’s Alka Lamba in the same district.
Meanwhile, the BJP has nominated several prominent leaders in its initial list of 29 candidates, including Parvesh Verma from New Delhi, who will compete against Kejriwal, and Ramesh Bidhuri from Kalkaji, who will challenge Delhi CM Atishi. Additionally, Kailash Gehlot, a recent AAP defector, has been nominated from Brijwasan.
The BJP's candidate lineup features two women. The ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has already revealed its nominees, while Congress has also announced several of its candidates.
With elections approaching in February, political analysts expect the announcement of poll dates soon. The AAP is relying on its promises, such as the Sanjeevni and Mahila Samman Yojana, while the BJP has criticized the ruling government for purportedly misusing public funds and enforcing "fraudulent" policies. Congress has also raised alarms over the AAP government's failures, blaming it for transforming Delhi into a "gas chamber."
