Kejriwal Falsely Claims Probe Against CM Atishi in Transport Sector: Delhi BJP

New Delhi, Dec 29 (NationPress) Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva on Sunday accused former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal of spreading rumours about an alleged ongoing probe against Chief Minister Atishi in the Transport Department.

Claiming that Kejriwal employs false narratives to intimidate his party leaders, Sachdeva stated that an administrative note has been dispatched by Delhi's ACS (Transport) Prashant Goyal to CM Atishi, clarifying that there is no investigation currently underway against her in the department.

"This note has unveiled the untrue assertions made by Kejriwal about a conspiracy aimed at arresting Atishi due to alleged misconduct in the Transport Department," Sachdeva remarked during a media briefing.

The Delhi BJP leader further stated: "We have been asserting for a long time that Kejriwal keeps his fellow leaders in a state of intimidation and political confusion by propagating lies about potential inquiries and arrests."

In this instance, Kejriwal's claim regarding an investigation against CM Atishi has proven to be baseless, Sachdeva pointed out.

The Delhi BJP President lamented that Kejriwal, for his trivial political ambitions, has not only tarnished the dignity associated with the position of Chief Minister but is also entangling CM Atishi in contentious matters.

Sachdeva also asserted that the voters of Delhi have resolved to give Kejriwal and his party a political farewell, suggesting that it would be wise for Kejriwal to cease worrying about the BJP's vision and the Chief Ministerial candidate.

Sachdeva mentioned that the BJP represents a collective leadership, while the AAP faces the issue of having all its leaders compromised.

The Delhi BJP Chief stated, "Kejriwal should first respond to the people of Delhi regarding the corruption he has committed during the decade of AAP governance in the city."

Sachdeva also criticized Kejriwal for "hindering development" in the city, stating, "By failing to establish even a single new school, college, or hospital in ten years, not initiating any major development project, exacerbating pollution, and obstructing public transport, Kejriwal has demonstrated a lack of vision for development."

Moreover, the liquor scam and the unlawful construction of Sheesh Mahal - the official CM residence - have further revealed his corruption, he said.
