A yellow alert has been issued for Hanumangarh, Barmer, Churu, Tonk, Bhilwara, Jhunjhunu, Ajmer, Alwar, Bharatpur, Karauli, Dholpur, Sikar, Bundi, Kota, and Sawai Madhopur. These areas may encounter light to moderate rainfall, thunderstorms, and gusty winds ranging from 20-30 km/h, along with sporadic hailstorms.
Unseasonal rainfall and strong winds have resulted in considerable damage to crops in Jaisalmer district, notably in regions like Mohangarh, Lathi, and Ramdevra. Crops such as cumin (jeera) and isabgol have suffered, raising concerns among farmers.
Rainfall has continued since Monday night in parts of Nagaur district, with hailstorms reported in Degana in the morning. Light rain has also been noted in Didwana. In response to the adverse weather, the mandis in Nagaur and Merta have been closed for the day.
Jaipur and its surroundings have been experiencing cool winds and light rain since early morning, resulting in a drop in temperatures across districts like Bikaner, Jaisalmer, and Sri Ganganagar.
The Meteorological Centre has indicated that several areas could see rainfall amounts of 20-50 mm.
According to Radheshyam Sharma, the Director of the Meteorological Centre, the effects of the current weather system are expected to persist until Wednesday, with conditions anticipated to improve starting April 9.

Border districts, including Sri Ganganagar, have also seen fluctuating weather conditions since morning, with intermittent rain, strong winds, and lightning reported in several areas, resulting in a noticeable chill in the air.
