Hyderabad, Jan 30 (NationPress) The Union Minister for Civil Aviation, K. Ram Mohan Naidu, expressed on Friday that the Wings India exhibition serves as a compelling evidence of global trust in India’s aviation development narrative.
The minister shared insights from the exhibition, part of the Wings India civil aviation summit, which is currently in its third day at Begumpet Airport.
“A vibrant and immersive experience at the Wings India exhibition, which genuinely highlights the scale, diversity, and ambition of India’s civil aviation ecosystem. I had the chance to explore several exhibition stalls and engage closely with industry leaders, innovators, and start-ups who are shaping the future of aviation,” the minister shared on ‘X’.
Ram Mohan Naidu operated the Airbus H125 helicopter simulator and described it as an impressive showcase of advanced aviation technology and pilot training capabilities.
He visited booths of HAL, AISEL, Pawan Hans, and many other Indian and international aviation firms and start-ups, each offering cutting-edge solutions in manufacturing, MRO, drones, training, sustainability, and airport infrastructure.
“The breadth of innovation displayed illustrates India’s consistent evolution from being a rapidly expanding aviation market to becoming a comprehensive and globally competitive aviation ecosystem,” he stated.
“With representatives from over 120 nations and participation from all major global aviation brands, the exhibition stands as a strong testament to the world’s confidence in India’s aviation growth story. Wings India continues to be a significant platform for collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and partnership-building, reinforcing India’s role as a key global aviation hub. The energy, ideas, and innovations seen here foster confidence in the future of Indian aviation as we collaborate towards safer, smarter, and more connected skies,” he added.
Earlier, he highlighted the excitement of the second day at Wings India.
“Day 2 at Wings India 2026 captivated audiences with thrilling aerial performances and stunning drone exhibitions, particularly inspiring the youth to dream big in aviation,” he said.
The Union Minister emphasized the remarkable performance by the IAF’s Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team, which showcased precision and excellence, along with an engaging act by Mark Jeffrey.
“The day concluded with a mesmerizing drone display lighting up the Begumpet skies, perfectly embodying the vision of Wings India 2026 - Atmanirbhar Bharat,” he wrote.
Meanwhile, the event opened to the public on Friday. A large throng of enthusiasts gathered at Begumpet Airport to witness the static display of aircraft and the breathtaking performance of the Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team.
The event will remain accessible to the public on the fourth and final day on Saturday.
