Bhopal, March 5 (NationPress) Madhya Pradesh's Chief Minister Mohan Yadav emphasized the necessity for district administrations to establish connections with the families of students and other residents from their regions currently living in Gulf countries due to the ongoing circumstances there.
In his address, Chief Minister Yadav announced the establishment of control rooms at Madhya Pradesh Bhavan in New Delhi and Vallabh Bhavan in Bhopal to offer support to the state's residents.
During a discussion with senior administrative officials, he urged district collectors to ensure ongoing coordination and communication with these individuals and their families at the local level.
The Chief Minister also highlighted that Madhya Pradesh athlete Priyanshi Prajapat, who had traveled to Tirana, Albania to take part in the World Wrestling Championship Ranking Series, has returned safely to her home in Ujjain.
On Thursday, CM Yadav connected with Priyanshi's family in Ujjain via video call.
During the wrestling competition in Albania that occurred from February 24 to February 28, Priyanshi showcased exceptional skill, winning her match on February 26 by defeating competitors from Kazakhstan, the United States, and Albania.
Last year, she also earned accolades for the country and state by clinching a gold medal in the Asian Series.
It's worth noting that rising tensions in the Middle East-Asia region had previously left Priyanshi and her fellow athletes stranded. Throughout this difficult period, Chief Minister Yadav ensured that all necessary support was provided for the athlete's safe return.
Additionally, former Indore BJP MLA Sanjay Shukla and others who found themselves stranded in the United Arab Emirates due to the ongoing West Asia conflict returned home on Tuesday.
Shukla recounted to the media that they had been stuck in Dubai because of flight cancellations. Fortunately, the Dubai authorities made adequate arrangements for their accommodation and meals.
