What Yogi Said After the Meetings

Posting in Hindi on X, Adityanath described his meeting with the Prime Minister in warm terms. 'Today, I had a heartfelt meeting with the visionary of ‘New India’, the esteemed Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji in New Delhi,' he wrote, adding: 'Your guidance inspires me to remain ceaselessly dynamic on the path of good governance. Heartfelt thanks, Prime Minister ji, for granting this valuable time.'

In a separate post moments earlier, he noted a courtesy call on the BJP president: 'Today, in New Delhi, I paid a courtesy visit to the honourable National President of @BJP4India, Shri @NitinNabin ji.'

The meetings carry clear political weight. Uttar Pradesh, India’s most populous state and the single largest contributor of 80 Lok Sabha seats, is headed toward Assembly elections, and the political temperature has been rising steadily. The principal Opposition Samajwadi Party (SP) has sharpened its attack on the BJP-led state government over the alleged misappropriation of Ram Temple funds in Ayodhya — a charge the ruling party has contested.
