Synopsis
Key Takeaways
Jaipur, April 10 (NationPress) In a groundbreaking initiative aimed at enhancing welfare support for defence families, two Class 12 students from Jaipur have unveiled an AI-driven platform designed to streamline access to welfare programs for ex-servicemen, widows, and families of martyrs, with state minister Col. Rajyavardhan Rathore in attendance.
Created by Kanishk Rungta and Krishaa Rungta, this innovative platform helps ex-servicemen, widows, dependents, and families of martyrs easily identify applicable government schemes and access application links through an intuitive, user-friendly interface.
By utilizing user inputs, the app guides beneficiaries to relevant schemes and benefits they might qualify for.
Since its launch, the platform has garnered a positive response, with more than 2,000 families already utilizing its services.
Col. Rajyavardhan Rathore commended the initiative, stating that the platform meets a genuine necessity and underscores how technology can enhance public service.
He described VeerSahara, the digital platform created by the students, as a forward-thinking and pragmatic solution for the military welfare ecosystem, which holds the potential for a wider societal impact.
“This is an admirable initiative by young innovators who have harnessed technology with compassion and intent. VeerSahara stands out for its user-friendly design and addresses a critical need at this moment. It could significantly aid defence families in accessing vital information and benefits with increased ease, dignity, and transparency,” he remarked.
The Minister also pointed out that such a model might be adapted for broader governance applications.
Highlighting its user-centric approach and navigational ease, he proposed exploring a similar system for the Industries and Commerce Department of the Rajasthan Government to assist citizens, entrepreneurs, and businesses in maneuvering through governmental schemes and policies.
Explaining their motivation, Kanishk Rungta mentioned that the idea arose from understanding the difficulties beneficiaries encounter while navigating complex systems.
“VeerSahara is our contribution to simplifying access to welfare support and making it more comprehensible,” he stated.
Krishaa Rungta emphasized, “This platform transcends technology; it aims to make access respectful and more approachable for families who have sacrificed so much for our nation.”
By minimizing complexity, raising awareness, and reducing reliance on intermediaries, VeerSahara seeks to facilitate seamless access to welfare services for defence families, showcasing the extraordinary potential of youth-led innovation for social good.
