This meeting is occurring at a crucial time when India is actively working to expand its global trade presence and establish robust economic relationships with key partners.
The Indian government is advocating for enhanced market access for local businesses and promoting integration into global value chains.
Earlier, Goyal mentioned that India has finalized nine free trade agreements (FTAs) encompassing 38 countries, thus providing Indian enterprises preferential access to nearly two-thirds of global trade.

According to the minister, the vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat is not intended for isolation but is focused on creating resilient, trustworthy, and diversified supply chains through global cooperation.
He has consistently urged entrepreneurs and industry leaders to leverage global opportunities for MSMEs, farmers, exporters, and fishermen across India.
During his address at the 27th edition of the ‘EY Entrepreneur Of The Year Awards’ in Mumbai, Goyal expressed that the growth trajectory of India will be propelled by its entrepreneurs and youth.
He conveyed optimism that young India will guide the nation through the ‘Amrit Kaal’ towards achieving developed economy status by 2047.
