New Delhi, April 2 (NationPress) In a groundbreaking achievement, India's defence exports soared to a record Rs 38,424 crore for the financial year 2025-26, reflecting an impressive increase of 62.66% from the previous fiscal’s Rs 23,622 crore, as reported by the government on Thursday.
The contributions from Defence Public Sector Undertakings (DPSUs) and the private sector were remarkable, accounting for 54.84% and 45.16% of total exports, respectively.
This milestone aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of establishing India as one of the world's leading defence exporters, according to a statement from the Defence Ministry.
