Amaravati, Aug 20 (NationPress) - The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N. Chandrababu Naidu, officially launched the Ratan Tata Innovation Hub (RTIH) on Wednesday to foster grassroots innovation and empower entrepreneurs across the state.
In collaboration with Natarajan Chandrasekaran, Chairman of Tata Sons, the hub was inaugurated at Mayuri Tech Park in Mangalagiri.
“If you possess an idea, Andhra Pradesh offers the platform to nurture it. I had the honor of inaugurating the Ratan Tata Innovation Hub in Mangalagiri, a center designed to cultivate grassroots innovation and empower entrepreneurs throughout the state. I firmly believe that investing in ideas is as crucial as investing in infrastructure,” the Chief Minister shared on the social media platform X.
CM Naidu emphasized that the state government is committed to creating an ecosystem that encourages, supports, and democratizes innovation at every tier.
“RTIH embodies our dedication to this vision—a dynamic innovation ecosystem where groundbreaking ideas receive mentorship, funding, and the necessary exposure to thrive. Initiatives like this not only inspire startups but also lay the groundwork for a broader movement,” he stated.
“As I previously called for 'One Family, One IT Professional,' I now present a new call: 'One Family, One Entrepreneur.' Every family should have the chance to dream, build, and contribute to the state’s economic development. This initiative also pays tribute to the legacy of the legendary Shri Ratan Tata, a visionary who advocated for both innovation and social responsibility,” he continued.
Nara Lokesh, Minister for Education, Information Technology, and Electronics, mentioned that the state government is eager to collaborate with leading industrialists and academics to transform Andhra Pradesh into the Innovation Valley of India.
He stressed that resources should not hinder innovation; rather, innovative ideas are essential. Lokesh encouraged the youth to concentrate on innovation with brilliant ideas from their student years.
“It is the ambition of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu that there should be an entrepreneur in every household. Let’s advance by converting challenges into opportunities. I assure you, we will extend all kinds of support and assistance to innovators,” remarked the minister.
Lokesh stated that RTIH is more than just a building; it is a beacon of hope for the youth. He noted that the hub is dedicated to the ideals of Ratan Tata.
He shared that his father, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, although known as a politician, is also a successful entrepreneur. Before launching Heritage, he had initiated three companies that did not succeed. Later, he founded Heritage in Chittoor district to aid farmers, which now operates in 12 states with a turnover of ₹5,000 crore.
“He did not let failure halt his journey. To accomplish anything, one must exhibit perseverance, commitment, and patience. Only then can we achieve extraordinary outcomes,” he concluded.
