Navi Mumbai, April 6 (NationPress) On Monday, Tesla unveiled its inaugural in-mall electric vehicle charging station in India, situated at the Nexus Seawoods Mall. This state-of-the-art facility, located within the B1 parking zone of the mall, is equipped with a total of eight chargers. This includes four V4 Superchargers that deliver rapid DC charging at rates of up to 250 kW, alongside four Destination Chargers capable of providing AC charging at 11 kW.

Tesla’s Supercharger system allows a Tesla Model Y to achieve a range of up to 275 km in just 15 minutes, making long-distance travel more feasible.
The charging process is seamlessly integrated with the Tesla mobile app, which enables users to locate charging stations, track charging progress, and execute payments effortlessly.
The Navi Mumbai charging station marks Tesla’s fourth location in India, complementing existing facilities in Gurugram, Delhi, and Mumbai. With this latest addition, Tesla's network now boasts 20 Superchargers and 14 Destination Chargers across major urban areas.
In conjunction with the charging station, Tesla has also established a pop-up store in the mall’s main atrium.
This interactive space provides visitors the chance to discover Tesla vehicles through guided tours, test drives, and engaging product presentations.
Tesla emphasized that this expansion illustrates its dedication to creating a reliable and accessible charging infrastructure in India, thus promoting the broader adoption of electric vehicles.
The Model Y, one of Tesla’s flagship models in the nation, starts at a price of Rs 59.89 lakh, with home charging solutions also available for customers.
