Aashravya, Adhiraj, and Aditya Excel at ITF J30 Tournament in Nepal

Pokhara (Nepal), December 17 (NationPress) Aashravya Mehra, Adhiraj Thakur, and Aditya Mor delivered outstanding performances in the International Tennis Federation (ITF) World Tennis Tour J30 Tournament taking place in Pokhara, Nepal. Aashravya Mehra emerged victorious in the singles event, while the doubles pairing of Adhiraj Thakur and Aditya Mor secured the doubles championship by defeating their fellow players Aarav Chawla and Ojas Mehlawat in the final.

In the singles match, seventh seed Aashravya convincingly defeated Nepal’s Aarav Samrat Hada with a score of 6-3, 6-4, winning in straight sets. During the semifinals, Aashravya stunned the tournament's top seed, Xiuyuan Guo from China, with a score of 6-4, 6-4, also in straight sets, earning his spot in the final. He triumphed over the higher-ranked Adhiraj in a thrilling quarterfinal match, winning 4-6, 6-0, 6-1.

In the doubles final, the top-seeded team of Adhiraj and Aditya Mor outplayed Aarav and Ojas with a score of 7-5, 6-2 to claim the title. Earlier, Adhiraj and Aditya overcame the Indian pair of Showrya Samala and Prakaash Sarran with a score of 6-3, 6-3, while Aarav and Ojas defeated the local duo of Pranav Manandhar and Raj Bir Pradhan with a score of 6-2, 6-4 to reach the finals.

All five athletes are training at the Roundglass Tennis Academy under the expert guidance of the esteemed coach and Technical Director of RGTA, Aditya Sachdeva.
