Harmanpreet Kaur returns as captain after missing the previous series against Ireland at home in January. Additionally, Sneh Rana, Yastika Bhatia, Arundhati Reddy, and Amanjot Kaur have rejoined the squad.

The selection panel confirmed that Renuka Singh Thakur and Titas Sadhu were excluded due to injuries.

Kashvee Gautam and Sree Charani earned their spots based on impressive performances in the WPL. Kashvee claimed 11 wickets in nine matches for Gujarat Giants, while Charani took four wickets in two games with Delhi Capitals.

Shuchi Upadhyay, a left-arm spinner, was the third-highest wicket-taker in the Senior Women's One-Day Trophy held last December, securing 18 wickets at an economy rate of 3.48 in nine innings for Madhya Pradesh, and was awarded Player of the Tournament.

Notably absent is Shafali Verma, despite a stellar performance in the WPL, where she amassed 304 runs from nine innings at a strike rate of 152.76.
