Pune, March 7 (NationPress) The reigning champions, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), along with the runner-up, Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), secured a complete three points each on the second day of the 41st PSPB Inter-Unit Hockey Tournament held at the Major Dhyanchand Hockey Stadium in Pune on Friday.

With this victory, BPCL took the lead in the standings with six points (2 Wins), while IOCL follows closely in second place, tied with Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), both at three points (1 Win) after the second round of matches. Engineers India Limited (EIL) has yet to register any points after losing their second consecutive match.

On Friday, BPCL achieved a thrilling 4-3 comeback against ONGC. The match began with BPCL trailing by one goal (0-1) as Gurjot Singh (17') scored a field goal for ONGC.
