Rajgir, April 5 (NationPress) On the opening day of the Division A matches at the 16th Hockey India Sub Junior Men National Championship 2026, teams from Hockey Punjab, Uttar Pradesh Hockey, Hockey Madhya Pradesh, and Hockey Jharkhand celebrated their victories.
In Division B, Hockey Bengal and Hockey Arunachal also recorded wins at the Rajgir Sports Complex on Sunday.
In Pool A of Division A, Hockey Punjab triumphed over Hockey Maharashtra with a score of 2-0, thanks to goals from Sangat Singh (10’) and Akash Deep (53’).
In Pool C, Uttar Pradesh Hockey achieved a remarkable victory, defeating Manipur Hockey 17-1.
