The talented golfer from Chandigarh, who has achieved numerous victories, clinched the Boys Under-13 championship at the prestigious Royal Musselburgh Golf Club in Scotland.
The Indian contingent secured one gold, two silver, and one bronze medal, along with another top-10 finish.
Verma was among several Indian participants who reached the podium, with Nihal Cheema finishing second in the Boys 8 years category. Ahana Shah took a tied second place in the Girls 9 years division, while Naaysha Sinha secured third in the Girls 8 category, also earning a medal. Most of these young achievers have consistently performed well in previous tournaments.
Under the guidance of coach Jesse Grewal, both Danish and Nihal have developed their skills significantly.
Danish, who previously won the US Kids Thailand Championships, showed remarkable consistency with rounds of 70-72-69, finishing with a bogey-free final round of 69.
