Hamburg, June 28 (NationPress) Diksha Dagar and Vani Kapoor emerged as the standout players for India at the Amundi German Masters after the second round. Alongside Avani Prashanth, who also made the cut, a total of three out of nine Indian golfers participated at the Green Eagle Golf Course this week.
Diksha recorded an even par round, slipping from the top five but maintaining her position within the top 10, tied for 8th place. Meanwhile, Vani performed impressively with a 3-under 70, also tying for 8th.
The only other Indian to advance was Avani Prashanth, who finished the day tied for 43rd after a round of 1-over 74, marked by two birdies, one bogey, and one double bogey.
Tvesa Malik (74-76) narrowly missed the cut by one stroke, as the cut line was at 3-over, while others like Sneha Singh (78-75), Amandeep Drall (78-75), Hitaashee Bakshi (79-81), and Vidhatri Urs (93-87) also fell short, with Neha Tripathi retiring after the first round.
