DCCI Unveils Team for Physically Disabled Champions Trophy

New Delhi, Jan 5 (NationPress) The National Selection Panel (NSP) of the Differently Abled Cricket Council of India (DCCI) has revealed the Indian team for the forthcoming Physically Disabled Champions Trophy taking place in Sri Lanka from January 12 to 21.
This marks the first occurrence of the tournament since 2019, and India will kick off its journey against its long-time rivals, Pakistan, on the tournament's opening day.
The selection of the squad followed a rigorous training camp held in Jaipur, led by Rohit Jhalani, who serves as the head coach for the Indian physically disabled cricket team. This camp was specifically arranged for players to demonstrate their abilities to the selection committee. After thorough evaluation, the selection panel has finalized a 17-member squad for this esteemed tournament.
Regarding the team composition, Jhalani expressed, "This is a well-rounded team capable of facing any contender. Team India is poised to make history at this event, and it is time to rally behind the team and show immense support. On India's involvement, Ravi Chauhan, general secretary of DCCI, stated, "We are optimistic about India's performance.
